The Hainen’s

Alex and Courtney were married “on top of the world” at Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke, Virginia. The forecast going into their wedding weekend did not look very promising. However, they were able to have their ceremony outside with just a few sprinkles! Their day was filled with so many beautiful moments. One of my favorite moments from their day was when Alex walked down the aisle with their daughter Athena! I wish I had a few behind the scenes photos of Alex and Courtney making their way to the look out at Bald Knob. It is not easy to get out there in everyday clothes so you can imagine the struggle it was for Courtney to get out there in her wedding dress. Courtney and Alex never once complained though and I so happy that we took a few minutes away to capture those shots at sunset.
